APPLYING PATCHES
There is only one way to secure a patch...SEW IT ON. WE DO NOT
RECOMMEND ironing them on, UNLESS IT IS DONE, BY YOUR LOCAL
DRY CLEANER. However, if you insist, click here for instructions...
Your Local Dry Cleaner can usually sew your patches on, inexpensively,
or knows someone who can... We, here at Backfire Alley, like to have
ours sewn on, then pressed, which also irons on the patch! Clothes with
Patches should be washed in COLD water to help the Patches retain
their color. Dry on AIR, PREFERABLY... DELICATE, IF YOU DON'T HAVE
AIR!
DECAL AND STICKER INSTALLATION
Clean the surface with Windex, for glass, inside for an inside sticker,
outside for an outside sticker.. Make SURE it's CLEAN AND DRY!!! Peel
back a small corner of the paper backing and put the sticker where you
want it. Make sure the sticker is straight, because once it's down, IT'S
THERE. Now slowly pull the rest of the paper backing from underneath,
gently laying down, the sticker. BE CAREFUL TO REMOVE WRINKLES
AND AIR BUBBLES AS YOU GO. A CREDIT CARD MAKES A NICE
SQUEEGIE. BE GENTLE!!!
CARE OF BANDANNAS & DEW RAGS
WHEN TYING YOUR DEW RAG OR BANDANA: Tie both ends of the
drawstrings or bandana ends, at the same time, in a SINGLE KNOT. A
DOUBLE KNOT is almost impossible to get out after material becomes
damp!!! BANDANNAS & DEW RAGS should be washed in COLD water to
help the material retain it's color. Dry on AIR, PREFERABLY... DELICATE,
IF YOU DON'T HAVE AIR!
